Glacier National Park star party at Logan Pass, August 2015 |
The clouds and smoke went away and more than 100 people turned out for Glacier National Park's star party Friday night at Logan Pass. Volunteer astronomers aimed more than a dozen telescopes at the night's delights and everyone "oohed" and "aahed" at star clusters, planets, Andromeda and -- of course -- our lovely Milky Way. The park's next star party is scheduled for Friday, September 4th. Free tickets required, call the park for more information.
